Hey Evil HR Lady,
I tried emailing you but it didn't go through for some reason. Quick question. I have an interview with a company next week and they want to talk to me at the office and then take me to lunch.
I've never heard of a company taking you to lunch before even a pre-screen. Is it possible my resume is just *that fabulous*? Have you ever heard of this? Any impressions would be appreciated.

Sure! It's absolutely possible. It also may just be practice because the company will pay for my lunch if I'm taking a candidate to lunch. Whereas, If I just take myself I have to pay for my own lunch.
Well this is the CEO and the VP of the department I'll be working in, so the company pays no matter what. : ) (Oh wait, they don't expect me to pay for my own lunch, do they?)

Heavens no! If they try to make you pay for your own lunch, this is definitely a company you wouldn't want to work for.
