I have no words. Except, perhaps, eww.
I know. It’s creepy as heck. And what annoys me even more, which I didn’t write about because I’m not political writer, is that the NYT just accepted this as cute and appropriate behavior.
Seriously? Can you imagine the scathing article about forcing religion and oppressing women that they would write if Paul Ryan were the “yenta of the senate?”
Yes, and it’s scaring me, because that is the direction we’re going with politics now.
The whole thing is WAY beyond creepy. Just reading it made my skin crawl. yuck! (I will admit, I didn’t even get to page 2)
And, yes, Evil, sadly there are double standards so “Chuckie” gets a pass. I don’t care what his or her political, religious, or whatever beliefs are – a creep is a creep is a creep.
Lastly, I’m not a woman; but if I were and someone ever looked at my (or any woman that I know) midsection and said “well?” I think I belted him one. creep.
