I’m starting a new project and I need to see lots and lots of resumes. Ideally, what I’d love to see is your resume in PDF format, along with a note on if you have successfully obtained employment with this resume or not.
I am not editing these, publishing them, or sharing them with other humans. I may quote small sections, but will do so with no identifying information on you.
If you’re willing to help me learn a bit more about resumes, please send your resume to EvilHRLady@gmail.com with subject line: Resume Project.
You had me at ‘other humans’ đ haven’t used one for a while will dig it out!
Do you want to see the resume I sent in to get my most recent job, or the updated current one?
My preference is the one you used to get your most recent job. I’m trying to crack the “what is a good resume” code.
Great idea! Can’t wait to see what you come up with.
Will send you my resume tonight. Phyllis Shaurette, in AZ (she’s on LinkedIn) helped me draft it, as I was transitioning from legal to HR. Her sourcing background really helped me to effectively market my skills and experience. I got several interviews and two good job offers (one of which I accepted) within 60 days of starting my job search.
Super! That’s awesome.
Sent 2! The one I used to get my current job then the one I’m using to get my next job!
Great idea! Best of luck trying to “crack the code.” I sent you five resumes, one is mine and four from other’s I’ve written/edited a resume for (I have their permission to share). Hope they help!
I sent my last successful resume.
I also attached my “experience summary sheet”. This is something I put together for interviews for my own use, but this time decided to give a copy to the interviewer. I think it was the summary sheet that got me the job, not my resume.
Good luck with your project.
Hi,
I am sending my resume to you through which I got 2 job offers and several interview calls. But I would like to give one hint for attractive resume to every one…and that’s the first page. If the first page highlight something the employer searching for, then you won the game. Thanks & Goodluck for your project
You guys are all the best! I’m really hoping to learn things from this adventure.
Either that or my eyeballs will start bleeding from reading all of these. :>)
Hello EHRL, is your research limited to any part of world? Situation in my part of world and my field may be different than in other markets and depending on that getting job successfully is easier or harder. Or are you looking just for some general things that make hirers tik?
I’m looking for general things. As long as the resume is in English, I am accepting them.
(Well I accepted a couple in German, but just because I want to be able to help people out where I live. I’m clueless when it comes to Swiss Job hunting, other than general good ideas.)
