LinkedIn used to be the one sane place on social media. It was the place you were supposed to go for business insights and networking opportunities, so of course you didn’t want to say anything too bizarre — it could hurt your reputation in the real world.
A few years ago, though, something snapped — and, well, there are now some completely bonkers posts out there. To be fair, some of these were sincere posts made by clueless people who had no idea how their posts would hit. And some are made by trolls who wanted to get people all riled up.
Regardless of the reason, I’ve gathered eight of the most bizarre LinkedIn posts from 2023 — each of which offers an important lesson to entrepreneurs and business leaders. Enjoy.
1. Annoying people is the way to get business
Trent Dressel lost his job after this post, as his employer apparently didn’t care for this hardcore approach to selling. But it appears he’s landed on his feet — hopefully, he learned a lesson.
