I’ve worked under the “Evil HR Lady” brand since 2006. On Tuesday, I changed it to “Improve Your HR.“
Evil HR Lady was a solid brand name with good recognition. I still think it’s funny, and I’m very glad I chose it when I started blogging about HR back in the days of Blogspot. But it was time for a change. Here are five reasons I decided to change my brand name.

I like the brand change and the reasons behind the change and hope that this will improve the communication between the company goals and what they want/need from their employees. HR needs to be technically competent to understand the discord of perception caused by today’s world of misinformation perception and know their company’s policies in detail pertaining to employment labor laws per each employee.
I get it, but I’m also going to miss “Evil HR Lady” – as an HR person, I appreciated the humor in it.
I’m also sorry you had to deal with some folks insisted on being humorless gits about it.
Here’s to the next chapter!
I much prefer Evil HR Lady. It’s fun and I loved the orange glasses logo.
